Along the way, I have come to understand not only how I see, but why I am drawn to photography. I do not judge an image by technical execution or visual aesthetics alone. A photograph’s true value, for me, lies in its ability to evoke a thought, a feeling, or a visceral response while reflecting my own vision.

My portfolio brings together a diverse range of subjects and visual interests. My focus shifts toward specific themes in different periods—most notably ballet and the performing arts in recent years—but my work also encompasses the Venice Carnival, travel, portraiture, architecture, nature, and other visual approaches. Subjects change over time, but my core philosophy and the way I interpret the world through my lens remain steadfast.

I am often drawn to a subject’s inherent meaning, or to form, light, movement, rhythm, and the interplay between them. Light and shadow, movement and stillness, people and their environments, geometry and chance, the inside and the outside: these dynamics surface again and again in my work. They are not rigid rules defined in advance, but the natural reflections of an evolving visual language.
