Seeing Beyond the Visible

Photography, for me, is more than creating images; it is a way of interpreting the world through my own perspective.

Over the years, I have come to understand not only how I see, but also why I am drawn to photography. I do not believe that a strong photograph is defined solely by technical perfection or visual beauty. For me, a meaningful photograph is one that encourages the viewer to pause, look again, and discover visual relationships that are not immediately apparent.

Today, my portfolio brings together a wide range of subjects and areas of interest. These themes and priorities may evolve over time—new ones may emerge while others gradually fade. Yet the visual approach behind them remains unchanged. What connects my photographs is not their subject matter, but the way I choose to see and interpret it.

In my work, I am often less interested in the subject itself than in the relationships it reveals: between light and shadow, movement and stillness, people and their surroundings, geometry and chance, inside and outside, reality and perception. What excites me is rarely what everyone sees, but the visual balance and unexpected connections that often go unnoticed.

The photographs presented in this portfolio were created over different periods of my photographic journey. Some could undoubtedly be interpreted differently today, benefiting from the experience, equipment, and post-processing techniques I have acquired over the years. Even so, technical perfection has never been the primary criterion for their inclusion. Each photograph is here because it represents a particular subject, period, project, or visual idea. This portfolio is therefore not simply a collection of selected images, but a deliberate reflection of an evolving visual journey.

Daily Lifecycle

What interests me most in everyday life is rarely the people themselves, but the rhythm of movement, the geometry of space, and the visual balance created by their interaction.

The Venice Carnival is a stage where masks reveal more than they conceal. Through identity, mystery, and tradition, I explore the delicate balance between reality and performance.

Climate & Environmental

Environmental themes increasingly find their place in my work. Through landscapes, abandoned spaces, and traces of change, I document the fragile relationship between humanity and nature.
